  3. Q: Is the course certified?
A: The South Pasadena Tiger Run is USATF sanctioned, it it is not USATF certified.

  4. Q: Will there be mile splits?
A: There will be markers at each mile, and but as the race is conducted entirely by volunteers, mile splits might only be available only at the first and third mile marks.
[Note:   The 2001 and 2002 Tiger Runs managed to have both markers and splits at every mile.]

  5. Q: Where can I find a map of the course?

  6. Q: What are the T-shirts like?
A: The T-shirts are long-sleeved. The colors of the shirts now rotate among orange/white/black each year. The shirts will be black in 2004.

  7. Q: How do I get there?
A: Check the Directions page. By the way, "South Pasadena" does NOT mean "southern Pasadena." South Pasadena is a bona fide city all on its own (albeit one with a somewhat unoriginal name).

  8. Q: What about parking?
A: There is plenty of free parking available in the school parking lot and on nearby side streets.

  9. Q: How fast do tigers run?
A: Curiously, this website gets a lot of visits from people searching for the answer to this question. Now, I've never timed a tiger myself, but I'd guess somewhere between 42 and 126 miles per hour. I.e., much faster than you. If it makes you feel any better, they're probably horrible at the shotput, though.
